9. What are the minimum requirements for NextAgeCart Installation?
These are the minimum requirements required for Shopping Cart Script Installation:
Software Requirements:
1. UNIX, Linux, FreeBSD, Microsoft Windows NT (NT, 2000 and XP) server.
2. Apache, Netscape or Microsoft IIS web server.
3. MySQL or mSQL databases. Microsoft Access is not supported.
4. MySQL (version 3.23 or higher.)
5. PHP (version 4.2.3 or higher) when possible.
6. Crontab is helpful but not required.
Hardware Requirements:
1. AMD/Pentium 300mhz or more.
2. 64 MB RAM (SDRAM preferably.)
Other Requirements include:
1. Remote access via telnet/shell is helpful during installation.
2. FTP access is helpful during installation.
3. Time-run limitations are hurtful but not fatal to the script.

10. How will I install NextAge Shopping Cart Software?
NextAge Shopping Cart installation can be done by following the steps below:
1. Unpack downloaded zip-archive with WinZip or any other Zip archiver supporting long file names in an empty directory keeping the directory structure. For Winzip Go to http://www.winzip.com/.
2. Upload the whole directory (all files/subdirectories in it) to your server by an FTP program.
3. CHMOD the subdirectory /images/products and the files in the subdirectory to 777
4. CHMOD the subdirectory /myadmin/doc and the files in the subdirectory to 777
5. CHMOD the file /php/connection.php to 777
CHMOD means to change permissions/attributes of a file or a directory on a Linux/Unix system, usually by an FTP program. If you are running a Windows server you should make the subdirectories /images/products and /myadmin/doc readable/writeable (in most cases from the cpanel).
6. Open a browser, and run the following link http://yoursite.com/install.php and install the NextAge Cart.
7. Follow the Step by Step Instruction of the installation Wizard.

Although we offer $49 installation service, however the installation process is pretty simple and you can easily do it yourself too. Please refer to your installation guide in your members' area to get information about installing NextAge Shopping cart. |
